Log In & Registration

Q: How do I log in?
Click the Log in button in the highlighted box on the left side of the home page. Enter your userid and password.
Q: How do I register?
If you are a new user, you will need to register by reading the registration instructions and completing the registration form.  Once your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email with login credentials.
Q: I've taken WBTs before, why am I not in the system?
Any users prior to 02/12/2010 are not recognized. If you logged in prior to 02/12/2010, you will need to register as a new user.

Terminology

Q: What is the Learning & Resource Portal?
The Learning & Resource Portal, aka “Learning Management System (LMS)”, is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting of training programs, classroom and online events, elearning programs, and training content.
Q: What is eLearning?

eLearning (or sometimes called electronic learning or online learning) is a term which is commonly used.

It is used for web-based distance education, with no face-to-face interaction.

Some eLearning examples are:
- Web-Based Training Modules
- System Simulations
- eBriefings/Presentations
- Asynchronous Learning Activities
- Online Tests and Certifications

Q: What is ILT?
Instructor-Led Training (ILT) A learning event which is led by an instructor, and either held in a physical location or a virtual classroom via web conferencing capabilities.
Q: What is virtual classroom?
A virtual classroom is a learning event in which the instructor provides course content through the web conferencing capabilities. Examples of virtual training include Web-Ex, NetMeeting and LiveMeeting.
